Meet Your Beloved Photographer

My name is Amanda Ryan. I grew up in a small town in ND. I am sibling number three of six. I have been in love with art and storytelling for years. One of my hobbies has been making family films. In my senior year of high school, I interned at Mcquillen Creative Group. I learned the basics of video editing. My favorite thing was combing piles of footage looking for little gems. I enjoyed and treasured my internship experience. As much as I love making stories with film. I love making stories with pictures more. Naturally, photography has grabbed my attention. It's become a skill I have been honing for years. It's been a passion to experiment and learn more every day. Photography is an art that is rooted in people's rich history and complex emotions. It's not just a couple posed in a backdrop. Pictures can be more. Every expression can be a window to a memory. A picture can even convey an aspect of something special about your beloved. A reminder of something you treasure about them. The name Amanda in Latin means " able to be loved or beloved." Which is part of the reason why my business is named "Beloved Photography." The other reason is as a believer in Jesus Christ, I believe everyone is beloved by God. I see beauty in every person. God made every person truly beautiful. It is more than just in a bodily sense. It's just part of who they are.
